Wireless laptop labs enable classroom teachers to enhance and extend their lessons.  The wireless environment provides access to the extensive resources available on the World Wide Web for research, investigation, acceleration, remediation, practice and enrichment.  The laptops afford students additional opportunities to apply and perfect their technology competencies enhancing their 21st Century skills.  Furthermore, collaborative skills are strengthened when students share a computer and problem solve together.

Elementary Wireless Laptop Lab Student  Overview This PowerPoint overview must be presented to all students by the classroom teacher before using the laptop lab.  See below for support materials.
Middle School Wireless Lab Student Overview This PowerPoint overview may be presented to all students by the classroom teacher before using the laptop lab.  See below for support materials.
Student Guidelines Laptop Dos and Don'ts This sheet will help students understand the guidelines for using the laptops and should be posted in the classroom.
Technology Pledge This sheet may be posted in the classroom.

Elementary Teacher Notes for Student Overview Talking points for the Student PowerPoint Overview
Elementary Teacher Procedures This document will be discussed at laptop lab training and will be signed by each teacher.
Classroom Management Tips A tip sheet for management ideas when using the laptops.
Middle School Teacher Notes for Student Overview Talking points for the Student PowerPoint Overview
Middle School Teacher Procedures This document will be discussed at laptop lab training and will be signed by each teacher.
Cart Instructions An instruction sheet that will be displayed on the wireless cart.
Problem Sheet A sheet for the reporting of battery issues and minor problems.  This will be kept on the cart and should not be used for problems that require a technician.  A TSR should be submitted to report hardware and software issues that require a technician.
